Star Power and the Search for Black Hole Bill

Surveys Imminent!

Greetings Sentinels!

It's been a little while since our last update here. Though the updates at www.starpowercomic.com have kept coming fast and frequent! So, let me bring you all up to speed:

First and foremost: surveys will being going out later this week. PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR SURVEY. Most of you will, cuz you're rad that way. Most of you will fill it out promptly and with enthusiasm, cuz you want this book as badly as we want to give it to you. As mentioned earlier in the campaign, we will be using Backerkit.com to help us with the surveys. If you pledged for add-ons, this is your time to select the specifics. If you want more, this is your chance. But there's an even better reason to fill out your survey: we won't know where to send your books otherwise. So, please, when you get that email, please be among the many rad backers and fill it out promptly. It helps us help you.

In other news while we've been working on issue 12, we've also been hard at work putting the book together. There's only a few tidbits left and then it'll be ready to go to print. We're hoping to have all that ironed out in the next couple of weeks.

We've been in talks with FriendlyDesign.co and they've taken on the challenge of updating starpowercomic.com. Some of you might know the designer heading up the team: Ross Nover, famous SuperArtFight.com host and witty cartoonist himself. You can find his coffee office design jokes at systemcomic.com. We'll be keeping you and our online readers informed as the process moves along.

And that's everything for now! The wheels are in motion! Awesomeness is coming! To those that celebrate: have a wonderful Thanksgiving. And to everyone else: call your mom. She probably would like to hear from you.

We're Headed For Venus!

Greetings, Sentinels!

The final count down has come and gone and we have successfully funded the printing of book 2: Star Power and the Search for Black Hole Bill. Well done everyone! 776 upstanding citizens of the galaxy came together and pledged nearly $35,000 to the cause! Not only are we going to print the finest superpowered space opera we know how, but we're also going to be beaming future installments to you on the information super highway in the very best of ways!

TL;DR: Book 2 will be hella sweet! Starpowercomic.com will be even better than it already is!

Thank you all so very very much for your support. Without readers and fans like you, Michael and I couldn't do the things we do. Speaking of, there's no time to waste, so I'm going to get back to finishing the layouts on this book!

We just wanted to let you guys know that we're upgrading the top 4 pledge theirs. The tiers that get you custom artwork or an appearance in the next Star Power adventure currently say you get a snazzy signed paperback copy of Star Power and the Search for Black Hole Bill. Well. Final Week and Stretch Goal

Greetings Sentinels!

We're down to the final week. A bit more than a week, technically, but close enough for government work. We've had an amazing campaign so far. Thanks to your support we've fully funded the printing of Star Power and the Search for Black Hole Bill, we've added 16 pages chock full of lore and behind-the-scenes art, and we're closing in on funding the rebuild for our website starpowercomic.com. Truly, you folks are the best.

But we're not through yet.

We've got one more week, and one more goal to reach for. You all remember that super secret stretch goal we were talking about at the beginning of the campaign? Yeah, well, we're gonna show it off now. If we can raise over $45,000 during this campaign, we're going to have a run of Star Power statues sculpted and cast.

 This is an idea Michael and I have kicked around for a while, and we figured there couldn't be a better place to put this out there for our fans. We're still in discussion with the manufacturer, so exact size and price point hasn't been determined. However, the short of it works like this: we raise $45k in the campaign, and we make an amazing scale replica of Danica available as an add-on. We're really excited by the prospect. We hope you folks are too.

Stretch Goal #2 Funded!

Greetings Sentinels! Once again! We've done it! Together, we've pushed through our second stretch goal. Star Power Volume 2 will now be a whopping 160 pages of epic sci-fi awesomeness!

But we're not done yet! Tell your friends, brag to your enemies, gush with your nerd-pals. With your help, we can continue making Star Power the best superhero space-opera there is!
