Greetings Sentinels!
As you may remember, one of our Stretch Goals was to over-haul starpowercomic.com. We've teamed up with Friendly Design Co. to make this happen, and today I'm happy to announce that we've gotten past the wireframe-layout phase of design and into the visual aspect. You know. The fun part. So, guess what? You fine sentients who have so graciously supported us, are going to get a sneak peak!
Obviously, this is not the finished design. Exact images and graphics will be changed out and improved, and there's actually going to be a lot more content on the main page. But this'll give you an idea of the feel of the new site. Michael and I are very excited about the direction it's developing. We'd also love to hear your thoughts!
Books are scheduled to arrive in our ware house Monday. So, stay tuned! Things are about to get exciting!

I have good news! Multiple good newses, in fact. First bit of news! Alyssa has finished making the Star Power Dolls!
So many adorable little Star Powered Sentinels! Bwahahahaha. And yet the good news doesn't end there!
The books are finished printing! Some 3000 copies of Star Power and the Search for Black Hole Bill are on a boat, headed our way! They will be here in about 3 weeks if they don't get held up in customs. So we should be sending out all those Kickstarter rewards mid April. We managed to get a small number airmailed to us, and seriously, they look amazing. The fine folks over at Kracken Print did an amazing job.
So with books on their way, what does that mean for you fine backers? It means we are so very close to putting the next of Danica's space adventures into your hands. With that in mind, we are going to close down our backer reports (which we did this year through Backer Kit) April 9th. Why April 9th? Cuz it's my birthday, and I'll remember the date. The vast majority of you have already filled out your survey. If the information you provided is still correct, you need take no action. If you need to change your address or edit any add-ons please return to your survey and make those corrections by the 9th of April. We'll send out a reminder before we lock them down. If you have not filled out your survey and do not wish to do so through Backer Kit, please contact me.
After months of waiting, it's all coming together! Exciting times!

I have good news for all you star-studded fans: Look at what came in the mail.
That's right! Proofs! Glorious, glorious proofs! Digital proofs are one thing, and we've been going over those for the last couple of weeks, but there's nothing quite like a physical proof. And they look AMAZING. So, the print run is officially greenlit. The presses are rolling, production is violently shoved into high gear like something Fast and possibly Furious!
Just thought you folks would want to know.

The files are off to pre-press, so we should have ink being put to paper soon! More on that as it develops. But mostly what I wanted to do was show you guys the bad boys that just came in!
